Remote Part-Time Paralegal
Job Description
An innovative law firm that specializes in corporate transaction work and consulting services for start-ups and entrepreneurs is seeking an organized Remote Part-Time Paralegal to join their team! They are looking for a corporate paralegal with experience in venture capital to work approximately 5-10 hours per week. This position is fully remote, but ideally, candidates should live in New York or within the EST time zone. Pay Range: $50 - $54/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage cap tables for clients
- Process transaction closes
- Generate signature pages
- File security filings with SEC or other various state securities/authorities
- Draft documents
- Compose and send emails
Requirements:
- 2+ years as a paralegal maintaining cap tables
- Experience with Carta or similar software
- Proficient in Excel formulas, Microsoft Word and Docusign
- Must be tech-savvy with online platforms
- Experience with a large Silicon Valley firm is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Paralegal certification is preferred
