Position Title: Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting a company specializing in construction management, cost engineering, and project controls. This individual will engage with government agencies, commercial businesses, and developers, contributing to over 700 projects valued at more than $20 billion. The position requires a versatile candidate who can adapt to various tasks and responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves frequent client interactions and collaboration with subcontractors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and be prepared to manage shifting priorities effectively. Overall, this position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to diverse construction projects.

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project teams have the necessary resources to complete tasks
  • Interact with subcontractors to clarify expectations and timelines
  • Manage client communications to align project goals and expectations
  • Prioritize projects based on evolving demands and stakeholder input
  • Oversee cost control measures and assist in estimating tasks when needed
  • Engage in site visits to monitor project progress and address issues
  • Coordinate activities across various construction and consulting assignments

Project Coordinator Requirements:

  • Some construction experience is required
  • Strong people skills, with a focus on customer service and client relations
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a multi-faceted role is essential
  • Dynamic and personable candidates are preferred
  • Mid-level experience of approximately 5 years is preferred
  • Experience in military or DOD construction is preferred
  • Higher education is preferred
  • Familiarity with cemetery projects is preferred
  • Comfort with estimating and construction management tasks is preferred
