Job Description
This is not a job for someone who needs direction. This is a role for someone who owns outcomes. We are hiring a seasoned Superintendent to take full control of field operations, lead crews, and drive projects from kickoff through completion. This role is hands-on and high-impact, managing multiple active job sites, coordinating teams, solving real-time challenges, and ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to spec. You will be the point person on-site, interfacing with stakeholders, leading crews, and making critical decisions that keep projects moving forward without delays. This role is built for a proven field leader. Someone who commands respect, communicates clearly, and thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments.
Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 / Year DOE

- Communicate directly with inspectors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents to execute work accurately
- Proactively identify and solve on-site challenges, including logistics, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen issues
- Maintain consistent communication with leadership, providing daily updates on project progress
- Ensure all safety protocols, site regulations, and operational standards are upheld
- Utilize systems for time tracking, documentation, and reporting project updates

- Strong background in supervising field crews and managing multiple job sites
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Hands-on experience with grading, concrete work, and basic underground utilities
- Proficiency with laser level equipment for setting grades
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of over-communicating and keeping stakeholders informed
- Clean driving record with no DUIs; ability to pass background checks
- Experience working on public works projects is required
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary with strong performance-based bonus potential
- Company vehicle with gas covered, plus tools provided
- Medical coverage with employer contribution
- Retirement plan with company match
- Paid time off with increased flexibility based on tenure
- Paid holidays, including additional time around major holidays
- Flexible structure that rewards accountability and performance, not micromanagement
