Job Description

Position Title: Litigation Associate

A litigation associate is sought to manage an increasing caseload within a stable firm. This role involves handling various types of litigation, including commercial matters and collections. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess a strong desire for professional growth. Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 / Year DOE

Litigation Associate Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 100 cases involving collections, financial institutions, and general litigation
  • Conduct motions and depositions
  • Participate in hearings and trials, with an expectation of 1-2 trials per year
  • Achieve 1500 billable hours annually
  • Collaborate with legal support staff

Litigation Associate Requirements:

  • 3-10+ years of experience as a litigation associate in commercial litigation, collections, bankruptcy, or insurance defense
  • Must be barred in New York City
