As a Media PR Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping our media and communications strategy, driving corporate and portfolio announcements. Media PR Partner Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute media and communications strategy across corporate and portfolio announcements.
• Build and maintain relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, and producers across business, tech, and venture outlets.
• Shape messaging and positioning for the company and its operating companies, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.
• Draft and place thought leadership pieces, interviews, and op-eds featuring the company’s founders and executives.
• Oversee the development of press releases, media briefings, and launch communications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to manage brand reputation, crisis response, and ongoing PR initiatives.
• Identify and secure speaking opportunities, panels, and features that elevate the company’s visibility across key industry conversations.
• Create a personal narrative that allows the CEO to discuss the strategy for brand messaging and potentially tie in philanthropic aspects.

Media PR Partner Requirements:

• 3 – 5+ years of experience in PR, media, journalism, or strategic communications
• Direct experience working at or with top-tier publications
• Deep understanding of venture ecosystems, startup storytelling, and emerging AI trends
• Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative development skills
• Proven ability to translate complex technical or financial concepts into clear, compelling stories
• Strategic thinker who can balance big-picture messaging with hands-on execution
• Highly self-managed, adaptable, and comfortable operating with limited structure
• Bachelor’s degree required
