Job Description
Position Title: Sales & Account Coordinator
This role serves as a vital link between customers, outside sales representatives, and internal teams, managing approximately 100 retail accounts. The Sales & Account Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day communication, order updates, inventory coordination, and sample distribution to ensure a seamless customer experience. This position supports sales growth through collaboration with representatives and assists with overall sales operations. The individual will coordinate key trade shows and events while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Adaptability and a proactive approach are essential to thrive in this dynamic role.
Sales & Account Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Act as a key link between customers, outside sales representatives, and internal operations
- Support approximately 100 retail accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and follow-ups via email and phone
- Provide buyers with real-time inventory availability and product updates
- Coordinate and send product samples to prospective and existing customers
- Share order status and tracking information to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Support and collaborate with outside sales representatives to drive account growth
- Assist with sales operations and day-to-day account needs
- Coordinate and manage two annual trade shows with Ace Hardware
- Support event logistics, setup, and organization
- Assist with pre-show outreach and post-show follow-up with leads and accounts
- Help the team with various tasks as needed in a small team environment
Sales & Account Coordinator Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience is preferred
- Experience communicating with customers, vendors, and clients via email and phone
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proactive and responsive with a customer-first mindset
- Willingness to travel out of state for trade shows
- Resourceful and eager to learn new things with a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Ecommerce, CPG, or large retailer experience is preferred
