Job Description

A leader in custom interior glass doors is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to own and grow commercial sales across the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego markets. This is a high-impact role responsible for generating new business, developing relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and developers, and managing the sales process end-to-end. You’ll work closely with the internal PM team to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client experience. They’re looking for a confident, hungry, polished sales professional who lives for business development, thrives in the field, and knows how to build a book of business through persistence, follow-through, and consultative relationship selling. Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 / Year DOE

Outside Salesperson Responsibilities:

·      Prospect aggressively to interior designers, architects, developers, GCs, contractors, and commercial dealers

·      Build and manage a strong pipeline through cold calling, field canvassing, and lead databases.

·      Develop bids, estimates, and proposals while mastering product measurements, specifications, and configurations

·      Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through delivery and production hand-off

·      Expand and maintain contact records within the CRM and report on pipeline performance

·      Administer all day-to-day showroom operations and support showroom activity as needed

·      Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals

·      Serve as a visible brand ambassador in the territory and at client visits, onsite walkthroughs, and industry events

Outside Salesperson Requirements:

·      5+ years of proven outside sales success in custom commercial product industries

·      Demonstrated track record of cold calling + field knocking and building business from scratch

·      Experience selling into commercial developers, architects, GCs, or commercial design firms

·      Strong mathematical/measurement skills for estimating and bidding

·      Ability to manage technical product knowledge and specifications end-to-end

·      CRM proficiency and strong planning and organizational skills

·      High-energy personality with charisma and natural relationship-building ability

·      Self-starter who thrives in autonomy and requires zero handholding

·      Steady employment history demonstrating long-term business development success

·      Experience reading commercial space plans/drawings preferred

·      BA in interior design or related field preferred
