A trusted independent agency in New Jersey is hiring a P&C Account Manager to support a high-performing team serving commercial clients across construction, hospitality, and franchise operations. This role will independently manage a book of roughly 100 commercial accounts and partner closely with a producer to drive renewals, remarketing, and client relationships. They’re looking for someone pleasant, proactive, solution-oriented, and energized by helping clients protect what matters. P&C Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of 100 commercial accounts totaling $800K–$900K in revenue
  • Support one producer with day-to-day account management
  • Drive renewals, remarket coverage, and collaborate with carriers
  • Maintain consistent communication and trusted relationships with clients
  • Handle multi-line commercial coverage, including General Liability, Property, Workers Comp, Commercial Auto, and Inland Marine
  • Help resolve coverage issues and support client needs with professionalism

P&C Account Manager Requirements:

  • 3 – 4 years P&C commercial lines account management
  • New Jersey P&C license required
  • Tech-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office; AMS360 or Applied Systems experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and composure when supporting upset or stressed clients
  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellent service
  • Stable work history and proven reliability
