A Corona, CA based general contractor is hiring an Accountant who knows how to own their numbers and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and results. This role supports multiple entities across construction and healthcare. You will be working directly under a highly experienced Controller and a leadership team that values accountability, humor, and zero excuses. From bank reconciliations, month-end closes, AP/AR, and multi-entity accounting, this is a hands-on role where precision matters and growth is real. They’re looking for someone seasoned, sharp, emotionally mature, and ready to show up, get the job done, and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-heavy environment.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 / Year DOE

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounting across 3 – 6 entities, including construction and healthcare operations
• Bank reconciliations, journal entries, debits/credits, and general ledger maintenance
• Month-end close and accurate financial reporting
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
• Expense reports, reconciliations, and multi-entity support
• Work closely with the Controller and project accounting teams to ensure clean financials
• Support medical billing activities for the treatment center
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
• Pivot quickly between tasks and manage priorities with accuracy and ownership

Accountant Requirements:

• 3 – 4+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Tech-savvy and experienced with accounting systems
• Thick-skinned, emotionally mature, and able to handle tense vendor/subcontractor conversations professionally
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and consistent
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred
