Position Title: Marketing Manager
A well-established multifamily property management company is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy, optimize advertising performance, and strengthen leasing results across a portfolio of approximately 3,000 apartment homes throughout Greater Los Angeles. This role will oversee digital marketing, marketing budgets, lead generation, CRM analytics, vendor relationships, brand management, and resident engagement initiatives while partnering closely with executive leadership and property management teams.
The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of multifamily property management marketing experience across a portfolio of 20 or more buildings, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate marketing data into actionable business recommendations. Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 / annually, DOE
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies across a multifamily portfolio to increase qualified leads, improve occupancy, and strengthen leasing performance
- Manage property-level marketing budgets, evaluate advertising expenditures, and recommend strategic adjustments based on ROI, conversion rates, and leasing results
- Analyze lead sources, CRM activity, leasing performance, cost per lead, cost per lease, and other key marketing metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, property websites, social media, SEO, paid advertising, and Internet Listing Service (ILS) platforms, including Zillow and Apartments.com
- Manage Yardi CRM, SOCi, and other marketing technologies while monitoring lead follow-up, leasing conversion trends, and platform effectiveness
- Maintain consistent branding across property marketing materials, digital platforms, signage, promotional campaigns, and resident communications
- Oversee online reputation management, monitor resident reviews, and coordinate strategies to improve property ratings and engagement
- Partner with property managers to develop resident events, community activities, volunteer opportunities, and marketing initiatives that strengthen resident retention
- Manage marketing vendors, evaluate contracts and service performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports, present actionable recommendations to leadership, and ensure marketing initiatives comply with Fair Housing requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of marketing management or assistant marketing management experience within multifamily property management
- Proven experience overseeing marketing initiatives across a portfolio of 20 or more apartment buildings
- Strong experience managing property-level marketing budgets, evaluating advertising ROI, and making data-driven recommendations to executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to analyze leasing traffic, lead sources, CRM activity, conversion rates, and marketing campaign performance
- Experience managing multifamily ILS platforms, property websites, social media, digital advertising, and vendor relationships
- Proficiency with Yardi Voyager, Yardi CRM, and Yardi websites strongly preferred
- Familiarity with SOCi, EliseAI, or comparable multifamily marketing and leasing platforms preferred
- Strong graphic design and content development skills using Adobe, Canva, or similar marketing tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing advertising requirements and digital marketing compliance
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to work independently across multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
- Previous property management experience is a plus
