Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000 / Year DOE

Family Law Attorney Responsibilities

• Manage family law cases involving divorce, custody, visitation, and support
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
• Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel
• Track and record daily billable hours
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless case management
• Assist the firm’s principal attorney on complex cases and strategy development
• Mentor or assist junior team members when appropriate

Family Law Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• 2 – 4 years of family law or civil litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom presentation skills
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases
• Proficiency in Westlaw, MS Office, and timekeeping software
• TimeClips experience a plus
• Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative and fast-moving environment
• Must demonstrate genuine interest in family law and client-focused advocacy
