A New York-based law firm that sits at the center of the most consequential litigation of our era, class actions and antitrust cases that challenge the behavior of the world’s largest companies, is looking to add qualified litigation associates to its growing team. These associates step directly into complex, high-impact matters against household-name defendants, gaining autonomy early while working closely with Partners recognized for their trial strength and strategic rigor. This is a role for an ambitious litigator who wants responsibility, courtroom experience, and a practice grounded in doing the right thing. This is a role for someone who thrives when the fight is big, the issues are novel, and the outcome truly matters.

Salary Range: $200,000 – $325,000 / Year DOE

Litigation Associates Responsibilities:

  • Lead case strategy and manage matters from initiation through resolution
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs in federal court
  • Run discovery, manage meet-and-confers and negotiate with defense counsel
  • Organize complex fact patterns and develop winning legal theories
  • Take and defend depositions and examine witnesses when matters proceed to trial
  • Collaborate with co-counsel and represent the firm with clients
  • Oversee junior attorneys and support staff to maintain excellence in execution
  • Travel for depositions, hearings, and trials as needed

Litigation Associates Requirements: 

  • 3 – 7 years of complex litigation experience
  • Strong writing skills that translate into persuasive advocacy
  • Experience handling discovery and case management
  • Confidence and independence to drive a case forward
  • Ability to take direct feedback and thrive under pressure
  • Licensed in NY with willingness to support both NY and CA cases
  • Clerkship experience preferred
  • Antitrust exposure or interest preferred
  • Mid-to-large-firm background preferred
  • Plaintiff-side experience and trial readiness preferred
