Salary Range: $100,000 – $200,000 / Year DOE

Labor and Employment Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume plaintiff-side employment caseload
  • Draft strong demand letters, pleadings, and motions
  • Write persuasive settlement briefs and assist in settlement negotiations
  • Conduct legal research and prepare discovery requests and responses
  • Maintain frequent, clear communication with clients to guide and support them
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Collaborate with the Managing Attorney and Senior Litigator to move cases efficiently
  • Utilize firm technology platforms: Clio, LexisNexis, Google Workspace, AI tools

Labor and Employment Associate Attorney Requirements:

  • 5+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
  • FEHA and single-plaintiff wage & hour experience required
  • California Bar in good standing and located in CA
  • Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school
  • Strong writing, analytical, and research skills with proven motion practice ability
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working within a modern cloud-based practice
  • Meticulous attention to detail and committed to error-free work product
  • Prior plaintiff-side experience required
  • Class action, PAGA, and employment defense experience preferred
  • Deposition and trial preparation experience preferred
