One of South Florida’s most respected boutique law firms is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to join its high-performing team in Boca Raton. This role will focus on complex estate and tax planning for high-net-worth clients, including individuals, families, and closely held businesses. You’ll collaborate directly with partners on sophisticated matters such as transfer tax planning, asset protection, succession planning, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements. Estate Planning Attorney Responsibilities:
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
- Develop and implement sophisticated wealth preservation and business succession strategies
- Advise on entity structuring, tax planning, and retirement planning for individuals and closely held businesses
- Collaborate with partners and clients on charitable planning, asset protection, and cross-border tax issues
- Manage estate planning matters from initial consultation to execution, with increasing autonomy over time
- Coordinate with accountants, financial advisors, and fiduciaries to deliver holistic client solutions
- Maintain strong client relationships built on trust, communication, and professionalism
Estate Planning Attorney Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred
- 8+ years of estate planning experience
- Experience handling taxable estates and sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth clients
- Strong knowledge of federal estate, gift, and income tax laws
- Exceptional drafting and analytical skills; meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with both clients and partners
- Admission to the Florida Bar
