A premium retail and design company located in Lower Manhattan, specializing in Italian-designed lighting and tableware, is seeking a Showroom Manager. This role oversees daily showroom operations, supervises staff, and ensures the showroom reflects a luxury, design-led aesthetic. Ideal for a self-starter with showroom, visual merchandising, and luxury retail experience, this position offers hands-on involvement with marketing events, trade shows, and client engagement. Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 / year DOE

Showroom Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage daily showroom operations ensuring a clean, organized, and brand-aligned environment
• Supervise part-time retail staff including scheduling, training, and performance guidance
• Maintain visual merchandising and product displays in collaboration with marketing team
• Support marketing events, product launches, and press presentations within the showroom
• Handle POS system transactions, daily sales reporting, and basic financial tracking
• Oversee showroom inventory, stock levels, rotations, and basement storage organization
• Prepare and host wholesale and designer client meetings with attention to detail
• Assist with trade show booth design, setup, and maintain brand visual consistency
• Monitor showroom functionality including lighting, product placement, and overall presentation
• Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams on promotions and showroom initiatives

Showroom Manager Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in physical showroom or flagship retail/brand space
• Luxury or design-led retail experience with a focus on product presentation
• Visual merchandising skills including layouts, displays, and seasonal refreshes
• Inventory and stock management experience including POS system oversight
• Experience with trade-show booth setup and off-site displays
• Strong service orientation with designers, hospitality clients, and walk-in customers
• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Merchandising, Interior Design, or related field preferred
