Job Description
Position Title: Remote Sales Representative
The Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving business development with major retail accounts. This position requires a self-starter who can leverage existing relationships to secure meetings and present product lines effectively. The representative will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Challenges include establishing new business independently and adapting to the dynamic nature of retail sales. A successful candidate will thrive in a small office environment while maintaining a business casual approach. The company culture encourages self-sufficiency and results-driven performance.
Remote Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development with big-box and national retail accounts
- Leverage existing buyer relationships to open doors and secure meetings
- Present product lines to retail buyers and category managers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue
- Collaborate with outside rep firms and internal teams on pricing, programs, and product rollouts
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate reporting
Remote Sales Representative Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- B2B retail experience
- Must have sales leads and contacts with buyers and retailers
- Knowledge of working with big box retailers and strong presentation skills
- High school diploma
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Zoom
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
