A leading construction firm based in Winter Haven, Florida is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join a growing construction team. This role will focus on overseeing civil and paving projects from the office while coordinating closely with field superintendents to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking construction professional with strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to solve problems before they arise.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
• Manage contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, submittals, and project closeout activities
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure daily operations align with overall project objectives
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and quality checks as needed
• Track project progress, prepare updates, and maintain forward-looking schedules
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and general safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors to resolve issues
• Monitor key milestones and ensure projects meet established goals

Project Manager Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction or related industries
• Experience managing large-scale projects and coordinating multiple teams
• Strong understanding of general construction processes and site operations
• Ability to interpret plans, develop schedules, manage budgets, and oversee contractors
• Experience handling project documentation such as invoices, submittals, and RFIs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments
• Flexibility to work primarily in an office setting with occasional site visits
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
