Position Title: Front Desk Coordinator
The Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in the organization by ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and managing the front desk operations efficiently. Front Desk Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and direct them to the appropriate services
- Walk clients back when needed and ensure smooth transitions between treatments
- Manage scheduling and appointment coordination
- Conduct pre-intake screenings
- Handle insurance verification and basic insurance coordination
- Ensure clients know where to go and what to expect
- Complete and manage a high volume of paperwork
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams for communication and recordkeeping
- Keep schedules organized and up to date
- Learn case management responsibilities over time
- Support care coordination and client follow-up as you grow into the role
Front Desk Coordinator Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of front desk or scheduler experience
- High school diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with Kipu software for medical records is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
