Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 / year DOE 

Business Development Manager Requirements:   

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the facility supplies, packaging, or safety equipment industries 
  • Proven ability to manage distributor and rep relationships, with an understanding of multi-tier channel strategies 
  • Strong computer and data management skills 
  • Experience managing a remote sales territory independently 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required 

Business Development Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and expand sales within the West Coast territory, focusing on distributor and representative relationships 
  • Support and guide third-party manufacturer reps, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed 
  • Oversee sales pipelines, monitor distributor activity, and identify opportunities for new business growth 
  • Develop and maintain strong feedback channels with end users to align goals and strategies 
  • Balance hunting and farming activities by managing both new opportunities and existing accounts 
  • Travel approximately every other week (up to 50%), focusing on key markets such as Texas, California, and the Bay Area 
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to shape strategy, optimize systems, and improve processes
