Job Description
Position Title: VP of Business Development
The role of VP of Business Development is crucial for driving growth and establishing long-term relationships with high-caliber clients in the private wealth and financial services sectors. This position requires an individual with strong independent sales skills and a deep understanding of the industry. The successful candidate will navigate complex sales processes and work closely with accomplished entrepreneurs and families. The ability to build trust and maintain client relationships is essential, as is the capacity to work effectively in a remote environment while adhering to Eastern Standard Time. Challenges include gaining access to decision-makers and effectively managing client expectations in a competitive landscape.
VP of Business Development Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Engage in sales activities targeting high-profile organizations
- Facilitate sponsorship contracts for events
- Collaborate with internal team members to manage client accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Sell research projects and other offerings to a diverse client base
- Work on client engagement strategies to ensure high renewal rates
VP of Business Development Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the private wealth and financial services space
- Strong independent sales skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Job stability with a history of tenure in previous roles
- Experience working in a fully remote role is preferred
