Senior Accountant Responsibilities: 

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, and cash receipts
• Oversee 3-way matching process for payables
• Monitor receivables and assist with light collections and client reminders
• Prepare and support monthly close processes and financial reporting
• Assist with the preparation of cash flow statements
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the accounting team
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to streamline and transition daily responsibilities
• Contribute to process improvements in a fully paperless environment

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a senior accountant or accounting manager
• Construction industry accounting background
• Strong leadership qualities with ability to mentor or train others
• Comfortable balancing operational and higher-level accounting responsibilities
• Proactive communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
