Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process invoices from subcontractors and office receipts accurately and on time
• Prepare and mail checks while maintaining proper documentation
• Track and follow up on change orders with project managers
• Verify compliance documents such as certificates of insurance and lien waivers
• Occasionally assist with front desk tasks including answering phones and greeting guests
• Use Sage 300, Procor, and Excel for accounting tasks and recordkeeping
• Support special projects and collaborate with the accounting team

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

• 2-3 years of accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite with formulas
• Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
• Comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Construction experience preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
