A fast-growing plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation firm is looking for a highly skilled Senior Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to lead their litigation department. This role is fully remote (must reside in CA), with rare in-person court appearances. You’ll take full ownership of high-impact employment litigation matters including FEHA claims, wage and hour disputes, PAGA cases, and class actions. With a strong client pipeline and a sharp, collaborative support team already in place, they are seeking a driven, tech-savvy litigator ready to make an immediate impact and grow into a leadership or equity partner role.

Salary Range: $200,000 – $250,000 / year DOE

Senior Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a full litigation caseload from pre-lit to trial/arbitration
  • Draft, review, and argue motions, oppositions, and discovery
  • Oversee all aspects of single-plaintiff FEHA, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and class/PAGA litigation
  • Collaborate with paralegal and support staff to move cases forward efficiently
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with clients, defense counsel, and co-counsel
  • Utilize legal tech tools to streamline workflows and case management
  • Mentor junior staff and provide strategic input to the Managing Attorney

Senior Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of dedicated employment litigation experience
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active California Bar license and residency in CA
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently through all phases
  • Experience with law and motion, depositions, hearings, and trial prep
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Clio, LexisNexis, Word, Adobe, Gmail, and Google Drive
  • Comfortable working in a remote, tech-forward environment
  • Experience with class actions and PAGA strongly preferred
  • Prior defense-side experience and/or trial experience a plus
