Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, this growing organization is seeking a driven Outside Sales professional to focus on high-impact business development with top retail and CPG accounts nationwide. The position is remote, but MUST reside in the mid-west or west coast to better align with client time zones and market coverage. The role involves building a pipeline from cold outreach to closing deals, managing key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a commission-driven environment, is comfortable cold calling, and has a strong understanding of retail and consumer packaged goods

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities: 

  • Drive new business development with top retailers and CPG companies
  • Cold call and prospect to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Manage acquired accounts and ensure ongoing client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with account service and success teams to deliver on client programs
  • Conduct weekly or biweekly meetings with clients to review performance and opportunities
  • Focus on upselling and growing existing accounts by targeted annual growth rates
  • Participate in trade shows and marketing initiatives to generate leads
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics within set ramp-up periods

Outside Sales Representative Requirements: 

  • 3-5+ years of experience in outside sales within the CPG industry or as a retailer (buyer, category manager, or sales representative)
  • Proven ability to build and grow a sales pipeline from cold outreach to closing
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and buyer relationships
  • Comfortable making frequent cold calls and managing high-value accounts
  • Early to mid-career professionals seeking high earning potential
  • BA degree preferred but not required
