A growing non-profit organization in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Nonprofit Operations Manager to lead and streamline internal operations. This key role manages budgeting, event coordination, donor engagement, newsletter development, and administrative support, ensuring the organization functions efficiently. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong operations or non-profit background. Salary Range: $33 – $40 / hour DOE
Nonprofit Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee budget tracking for multiple programs, ensuring alignment with goals and resource allocation
- Generate financial reports for internal teams and external stakeholders to support informed decisions
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, staff retreats, and events, ensuring smooth execution and communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and streamline communications to improve internal workflow
- Support fundraising initiatives, including donor events, contribution tracking, and impact storytelling
- Manage newsletter content, design, distribution, and engagement tracking
- Develop and implement SOPs and internal guidelines to boost efficiency and ensure compliance
- Assist with research and preparation of grant proposals to secure additional funding
Nonprofit Operations Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in non-profit operations, program management, or development
- Bachelor’s degree required for administrative and operational responsibilities
- Leadership experience overseeing a team of 5 or more, including mentoring and performance management
- Experience with budget tracking, financial reporting, and pulling reports to monitor resource use
- Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to staff, donors, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and fundraising or donor management software
- Strong empathy, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate challenging situations professionally
