A distinguished Bay Area trust, estate, and probate law firm is hiring a Trust and Estate Admin Attorney to primarily support the Partner in expanding their trust and estate administration department while also assisting on litigation matters as needed. This role blends heavy drafting, case strategy, and client-focused problem solving, giving you the chance to grow a book, sharpen your litigation skills, and become a long-term cornerstone of the firm. Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000 / Year DOE

- 20% of billables above 1,600 hours

Trust and Estate Admin Attorney Responsibilities:
- Supporting the partner in trust and estate administration matters
- Draft pleadings, petitions, motions, trust and probate administration documents
- Assist with trust and probate litigation matters as needed
- Conduct depositions and support discovery and case strategy
- Perform legal research using Fastcase and other tools
- Manage files, billing, and case workflow through Clio and OneDrive
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to move matters forward efficiently
- Maintain consistent communication with the legal team on deadlines and case progress
- Contribute to the development and growth of the firm’s trust and estate administration practice
Trust and Estate Admin Attorney Requirements:
- Active California Bar license
- 2-10+ years of attorney experience
- Some general civil litigation experience
- Deposition experience
- Background in trust & estate, estate planning, civil litigation, business, real estate, employment, personal injury or similar transferable practice areas
- Experience working in a law firm environment with billable hours
- Professional, reliable, and respectful demeanor
- Comfortable working in a dog-friendly office
