A well-established CNC shop in New Castle, IN, is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist to join their high-mix, low-volume production team. They’re looking for someone capable of running mills independently, reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and editing CNC programs when needed. You’ll work with a flexible, tight-knit crew in a laid-back yet highly skilled environment where quality, communication, and work-life balance matter.

Ideal candidates will bring at least 3–5 years of CNC machining experience, particularly with mills, and be comfortable running their own setups and reading prints with minimal supervision.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC vertical mills for custom, low-volume production
• Set up jobs from start to finish, including loading tools, zeroing equipment, and downloading or editing programs
• Work from blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy and part quality
• Perform conversational programming and minor program edits as needed
• Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and accurately
• Adapt to varied and specialized parts, most jobs are 10–15 units with unique specs
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate effectively with the rest of the team

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with manual setup, tooling, and offset adjustments
