Position Title: Assistant Property Manager

Join a growing, people-focused property management company as an Assistant Property Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day success of a 154-unit residential community. This hands-on position partners closely with the General Manager to create an exceptional resident experience while keeping leasing, move-ins and move-outs, notices, unit turns, property walks, maintenance requests, and resident relations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is a positive, team-oriented property management professional with at least 3 years of residential multifamily experience, strong Yardi proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in property management!
Salary: $25-$35/Hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager with daily operations of a 154-unit multifamily community
- Build positive relationships with residents and respond professionally to questions, concerns, and requests
- Coordinate and oversee move-ins, move-outs, notices, and resident-related administrative tasks
- Monitor unit turns to ensure apartments are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Conduct apartment walks with prospective residents and support leasing efforts as needed
- Partner with maintenance and onsite teams to help keep the property operating efficiently
- Work occasional weekend leasing coverage on a rotating, as-needed basis
Requirements:
- 3+ years of residential multifamily property management experience
- Strong working knowledge of Yardi required
- Understanding of Equal Housing Opportunity principles and multifamily housing regulations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
- Strong communication, organization, and resident relations skills
- Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently without extensive supervision
- Bilingual skills are a plus
