Job Description
A leading manufacturer of high-quality cabinets is seeking an experienced and versatile Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, full-time, onsite role responsible for overseeing accounting functions, order entry, office operations, and various ad-hoc business tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic small business environment.
Salary range- $90K-110K
Bookkeeper/Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll for employees
- Oversee daily order entry and ensure accuracy in customer invoicing and reconciliation
- Handle government contract administration and negotiation as needed
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and manage vendor payments
- Liaise with the company’s CPA firm and assist with tax preparation and audits
- Supervise front office staff, including receptionist and order entry functions
- Support budgeting, IT coordination, and occasional marketing projects
- Maintain accurate financial records using E2 Shoptech software and Excel
Bookkeeper/Office Manager Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of professional experience in accounting/bookkeeping
- Strong Excel skills
- Proven ability to multitask and manage various operational responsibilities
- High attention to detail and integrity in managing financial data
- Comfortable wearing many hats in a small business environment
- Experience in a manufacturing or job shop setting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
