Job Description

A well-established and growing manufacturing facility is seeking a Bilingual Senior HR Generalist to support and elevate its HR operations. This role is central to driving a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance, and resolving employee issues in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment. The position requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively support a predominantly Spanish-speaking workforce. The ideal candidate is a proactive, people-oriented HR professional with strong generalist experience who can confidently mediate workplace concerns, enforce policy, and build trust with employees and leadership alike.

Bilingual Senior HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Support and guide HR team members and plant leadership on HR best practices, employment law, and company policy
  • Mediate conflict and conduct employee relations investigations while maintaining a neutral and solutions-focused approach
  • Lead new hire onboarding and ensure a positive employee experience
  • Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Oversee employee files, records, and HR compliance documentation
  • Serve as a key point of contact for plant employees and leadership for HR-related questions and processes
  • Assist in performance management, corrective actions, and employee terminations
  • Use HRIS systems for tracking, reporting, and process improvement
  • Support safety, training, and cultural engagement initiatives

Bilingual Senior HR Generalist Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or plant-based setting
  • Proven ability to mediate disputes and resolve employee relations issues effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for HR-related disciplines
  • Experience with HRIS platforms
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work onsite full time; occasional flexibility for personal needs is available
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification and/or a master’s degree preferred
