A premier litigation boutique in downtown Los Angeles is seeking a highly experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex commercial disputes with a firm known for excellence, discretion, and high-profile wins. This role offers hands-on involvement in sophisticated litigation across civil, regulatory, and white-collar matters. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator with 10+ years of experience, sharp legal instincts, and a genuine passion for advocacy and strategy.

Salary Range: $170,000 – $220,000 / year DOE

Business Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex business litigation matters from start to finish, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial
  • Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice on risks, compliance, and resolution pathways
  • Draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and motions tailored to case objectives
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations
  • Collaborate closely with partners and support staff to ensure top-tier client service
  • Maintain organized case files, meet deadlines, and manage billables

Business Litigation Attorney Requirements:

  • 10+ years of business litigation experience
  • Admitted to the California Bar
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success managing complex matters with minimal oversight
  • Experience working in boutique litigation firms or handling large cases with lean teams is a plus
  • Client-facing experience and ability to build long-term relationships
  • A history of high-profile or precedent-setting litigation is a plus
