A well-established general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial and occasional multifamily construction projects across local and national markets. This is a hands-on role for a candidate who thrives on owning projects from bid to closeout, maintaining quality and profitability while building strong internal and external relationships. The ideal candidate is experienced in ground-up commercial construction and eager to grow with a collaborative, family-oriented team.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial and multifamily projects from pre-construction through final delivery
• Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontract negotiations, and scope reviews
• Serve as primary liaison for owners, clients, and design teams
• Track project financials, timelines, and progress using Sage, Excel, and Plangrid
• Conduct field walkthroughs, coordinate with superintendents, and troubleshoot issues
• Assist with bid preparation, estimating, and subcontractor outreach
• Travel to project sites as needed

Project Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or multifamily construction
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
• Strong estimating, project forecasting, and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Plangrid and Sage is a plus
• Ability to travel regionally; valid driver’s license and clean record
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred
