A fast-growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in downtown Chicago is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its thriving team. This Litigation Attorney will have full ownership of cases from intake through resolution, working in a fast-paced environment that values autonomy and growth. Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000 / year DOE + bonus

Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

• Manage a personal injury caseload through all phases of litigation
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend court calls, and handle motion practice
• Negotiate settlements directly and strategically with insurance companies and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with support staff (including paralegals, legal assistants, and nurse consultants)
• Work cases from initial handoff to resolution or trial
• Participate in strategy meetings with the litigation team and leadership
• Take initiative to manage high-volume work efficiently while maintaining quality

Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Requirements:

• 5–10 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• Proven experience with depositions and courtroom appearances
• Background in auto, trucking, premises liability (slip and fall) preferred
• Trial experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, coachable mindset
• High sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
