Job Description

A law firm is seeking a personable, detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Attorney to join their Greensboro office. As a trusted firm handling over 1,100 closings per month, this role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with clients during residential real estate transactions, while supporting the firm’s mission to deliver a seamless and professional closing experience. The ideal candidate is reliable, articulate, licensed in North Carolina, and excited to provide top-tier service in a client-facing environment.

Residential Real Estate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Conduct residential real estate closings involving buyers, sellers, and lenders
  • Review, explain, and execute legal closing documents with clients
  • Perform title review and assist with title curative work
  • Ensure closing documentation is legally sufficient and compliant
  • Coordinate with virtual team members, paralegals, and schedulers
  • Deliver a high-touch client experience in the closing room
  • Maintain a calendar-driven workflow with multiple closings daily
  • Support other legal tasks as assigned, with opportunities to expand into title review responsibilities

Residential Real Estate Attorney Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina
  • At least 3 years of experience in residential real estate closings
  • Experience with Qualia or similar closing software preferred
  • Notary Public in NC or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable managing a structured, appointment-based schedule
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Title experience strongly preferred
  • Must be willing to travel to Charlotte for onboarding during the first week
  • South Carolina Bar license a plus
