Job Description

A dynamic and client-focused employee benefits brokerage is seeking an experienced client-savvy Client Manager to lead client service delivery, drive process improvements, and support complex benefits administration for their growing brokerage firm. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage key accounts, oversee enrollment systems, and provide proactive compliance guidance. They are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 / year DOE

Client Manager Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, independently managing and resolving escalated service issues
  • Lead Open Enrollment setup and administration using Ease and Employee Navigator
  • Guide clients through compliance questions and regulatory requirements
  • Customize and manage delivery of client communications and education materials
  • Oversee database management workflows to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Troubleshoot system issues and validate client data for compliance and integrity
  • Audit and manage eligibility processes and carrier systems
  • Drive efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Lead special projects related to compliance, implementation, and client onboarding
  • Maintain organized systems for file management, tracking, and documentation
  • Train and support internal team members, ensuring consistent task execution and service standards
  • Deliver webinars, presentations, and educational sessions for clients and staff

Client Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a health insurance brokerage
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits regulations
  • Proven experience managing Open Enrollment and handling client service requests
  • Familiarity with Colorado carriers
  • Strong presentation and client education skills
  • Health insurance license preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience configuring rules in Ease or Employee Navigator
  • Proficiency in Zoom/Microsoft Teams for webinars and virtual meetings
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
