A respected litigation firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Law & Motion Attorney with a passion for persuasive writing and legal research. Salary Range: $135,000 – $175,000 / year DOE

Law & Motion Attorney Responsibilities:

• Draft and edit motions, oppositions, and legal briefs for insurance defense cases
• Conduct original legal research to support case strategy
• Collaborate with litigation attorneys and provide motion support across the firm
• Participate in occasional court appearances to argue motions, as needed
• Communicate legal analysis and recommendations to internal team and clients

Law & Motion Attorney Requirements:

• 4–5 years of strong experience in Law & Motion work within insurance defense or civil litigation
• Excellent research and legal writing skills; extensive motion drafting required
• California Bar license is required
• Familiarity with landlord-tenant, habitability, premises liability, or products liability preferred
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
