Transaction Attorney Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts
• Provide legal advice on transactions, risk, and regulatory compliance
• Perform due diligence and risk mitigation strategies for mergers and acquisitions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to close transactions smoothly
• Track legal and regulatory developments relevant to local government clients
• Structure transactions in alignment with business and legal objectives
• Optionally mentor junior staff, based on experience

Transaction Attorney Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of transactional law experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to meet monthly billable goals
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
• Experience working with or advising government entities is a plus
• Familiarity with Georgia municipal or county law
