A leader in custom plastic extrusion manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations across its three-shift, 24-hour facility. This hands-on role is central to ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and team communication across departments. You’ll work closely with leadership, engineering, and maintenance to proactively resolve issues and keep the floor running smoothly. This is an ideal role for a motivated leader with strong plastic extrusion experience who’s ready to step into a key operations role with the potential to grow into Plant Manager or General Manager as part of a long-term succession plan.

Salary: $75,000 – $125,000 / year DOE

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support three shift supervisors and their teams across a 24-hour operation
• Oversee all production activities including scheduling, quality control, and project execution
• Monitor and manage production of custom extrusion jobs
• Conduct weekly production meetings and coordinate scheduling adjustments with ownership
• Serve as the liaison between production, engineering, office staff, and maintenance
• Communicate and resolve issues proactively to improve efficiency and minimize downtime
• Mentor, motivate, and hire production staff as needed under the direction of leadership
• Ensure operators and packers receive support, tools, and guidance to succeed
• Read and interpret blueprints; ensure projects meet client specs and quality standards
• Maintain production and inventory data using Excel and internal systems

Production Supervisor Requirements:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a plastic extrusion manufacturing environment
• 10+ years overall in production or manufacturing roles
• Demonstrated ability to manage custom extrusion jobs across diverse plastic types and sizes
