A manufacturing company is seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations at their fast-growing Waller, TX facility. In this highly visible leadership role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating production schedules, improving interdepartmental communication, managing key operational teams, and ensuring delivery timelines are consistently met across both of their facilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, preferably in electrical systems or field service environments, and a relentless focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service.

General Manager Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations for warehouse, quality, testing, and facilities teams
• Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing, engineering, and procurement
• Drive communication and accountability across departments to meet deadlines
• Manage staffing needs, resource allocation, and workflow prioritization
• Act as a strategic liaison between engineering, production, and leadership
• Support root-cause resolution and problem-solving initiatives
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are upheld
• Travel daily between two local facilities

General Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Prior hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical systems
• Strong scheduling, delegation, and cross-functional communication skills
• Self-starter with a customer-first mindset and a high sense of urgency
• Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced, unstructured environments
• Must be onsite daily; reliable and committed work ethic
• No degree required; technical certifications or electrical training preferred
• Electrical or technical background from oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing industries is a plus
• Experience managing operations in a high-accountability culture is preferred
• Excel and Word proficiency; familiarity with Fishbowl inventory software a plus
