A well-established and rapidly growing financial services firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join their Charleston, SC office. This individual will play a critical role in managing day-to-day operational tasks, supporting financial advisors, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and possess strong attention to detail with a positive, can-do attitude.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Process paperwork for account openings, money movements, and operational tasks
- Support financial advisors by managing follow-up work from client meetings
- Manage and streamline operational workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate and schedule events, travel, and meetings for advisors
- Handle administrative duties including document management and reporting
- Assist with account maintenance using financial systems such as Schwab
- Prepare for and support office opening logistics
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive office culture
Operations Manager Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services operations
- Hands-on experience using Schwab as a custodian
- Strong technical proficiency; must be highly tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality
- Alignment with Christian values and a willingness to participate in a faith-centered workplace culture
- Experience with Tamarac, Orion, and Salesforce is a plus but not required
