A leading provider of industrial refrigeration systems for the food and beverage industry, is seeking experienced Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) Service Technicians to join their growing team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) Service Technicians Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections, identifying and resolving issues proactively
• Install and service screw compressors, reset compressors, and control/alarm systems
• Read and interpret ladder diagrams for troubleshooting control systems
• Maintain direct communication with clients, explaining findings and recommendations clearly
• Manage 5-6 jobs per week, with an average time of 6-8 hours per job
• Travel daily within your region; occasional overnight stays required
• Participate in an on-call rotation every 4 weeks, with additional pay for on-call duties
• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and customer site requirements

Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) Service Technicians Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required; HVAC technical school preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial (ammonia) refrigeration experience or 10+ years for senior-level roles
• Universal EPA Certification required
• RETA 1 & 2 Certification preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check
