A global investment management company is seeking an Equity Analyst to join their collaborative Equity Team in New York. In this role, you will conduct in-depth research on North American (US/Canada) public equities, analyze buy and sell transactions, monitor market performance, and contribute to portfolio management across various sectors. They are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can work independently while collaborating effectively with their global team.

Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 / year DOE

Equity Analyst Responsibilities:

·      Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis, modeling, and valuation of North American public equities

·      Research and analyze potential buy and sell transactions to support investment decisions

·      Monitor market performance and contribute to portfolio management strategies

·      Perform risk analysis and ongoing monitoring of existing investments

·      Participate in weekly team meetings with the Equities team

·      Collaborate with team members across global offices, including frequent communication with the Korea team

·      Specialize in a specific sector based on experience

·      Prepare detailed research reports and investment recommendations

·      Attend client meetings as needed, though primarily focused on research and analysis

Equity Analyst Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field

·      3+ years of experience in equity research analysis

·      Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal

·      Advanced Excel skills

·      Strong fundamental analysis, modeling, and valuation capabilities

·      Experience in Financials, Industrials, Healthcare, or Tech sectors highly preferred

·      Ability to work in a collaborative, diverse team environment

·      Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
