A comprehensive outdoor construction, swimming pool construction, nursery, and

landscape maintenance company is seeking a Landscape Construction Estimator to join their award-winning, family-run team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in high-end residential outdoor construction projects, from concept to client presentation. The Estimator will be the client’s main point of contact throughout the estimating process—conducting site visits, preparing competitive bids, and coordinating with internal and external teams to deliver custom, cost-effective solutions for projects.

They are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong estimating experience and a passion for outdoor construction. This person thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, can juggle multiple bids, and is always seeking ways to improve.

Salary Range: $23 – $38 / hourly

Landscape Construction Estimator Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary client liaison throughout the estimating process
• Conduct site visits and evaluate conditions
• Prepare competitive estimates and detailed bid proposals
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for accurate pricing and availability
• Present proposals and contracts to clients, offering value-engineering options when needed
• Stay informed on materials, building techniques, and pricing trends
• Track and manage all bid submissions and ensure profitability goals are met
• Maintain clear and organized project records and documentation
• Recommend process improvements and new materials or products as needed

Landscape Construction Estimator Requirements:

• 2+ years of landscape construction estimating experience
• Background in landscape design, construction, masonry, or hardscaping
• Strong knowledge of pool, pergola, retaining wall, and slope work construction
• Proven experience preparing and presenting estimates and bid proposals to clients
• Strong math and measurement skills; comfortable reviewing and explaining plans
• Excellent communication skills to work across clients, GCs, vendors, and internal teams
• Comfortable with job site visits—must have reliable vehicle and clean driving record
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Buildertrend, Aspire, CAD, and 3D landscape design software
• Adaptable, organized, and solution-oriented with a high attention to detail
• Horticulture experience is a plus
