A thriving construction company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from concept to completion. This is a full-cycle PM role where you’ll manage estimating, planning, and execution, typically across multiple projects, including tenant improvements and new commercial builds. You’ll collaborate closely with a tight-knit team of superintendents, project engineers, and leadership to deliver high-quality work with integrity and purpose.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Lead estimating efforts, bid coordination, and subcontractor negotiations
• Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Oversee on-site execution and collaborate with field teams and superintendents
• Communicate proactively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Manage multiple active projects concurrently depending on size and complexity
• Travel to job sites as needed

Construction Project Manager Requirements:

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
• Proven ability to independently manage commercial projects from estimation through completion
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with teams
• Estimating experience is essential
• Willingness to travel to regional job sites as needed
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and general computer literacy
• Experience working in a smaller firm wearing multiple hats is a plus
• Previous work on public school or civic building projects is preferred
• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
