A respected and growing independent insurance agency is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive to join their collaborative, client-focused team in Buffalo, NY. This role is an exciting opportunity for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional service to personal lines clients. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients—primarily home, auto, umbrella, and recreational coverages—ensuring their needs are met, policies are up to date, and additional coverage opportunities are explored.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 / year DOE
Personal Lines Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines clients, averaging 2–3 policies each
- Handle policy changes, endorsements, and updates across AMS360 and carrier systems
- Provide responsive customer service for inquiries, billing, coverage, and claim support
- Round out mono-line accounts by identifying and offering appropriate additional coverages
- Work with Producers to manage existing client policies and ensure up-to-date information
- Conduct in-person meetings with clients who visit the office
- Collaborate with management to improve service processes and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation and task tracking in AMS360
- Participate in professional development through industry readings, training, and events
- Assist insureds with claims filing and follow-up, ensuring a smooth customer experience
Personal Lines Account Executive Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of insurance agency experience in personal lines servicing
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License in New York State (BR license)
- Experience working directly with clients in a customer service or account management capacity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn AMS360 and other insurance platforms
- Positive, team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management systems is a plus
- Experience offering cross-sell opportunities is preferred
- Knowledge of incentive-driven service environments
