A dynamic and thriving legal firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Litigation Attorney to join their leadership team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a high-performing legal team, manage complex business and employment defense litigation, and collaborate directly with the principal to drive firm growth and success. Salary Range: $185,000 – $225,000 / year DOE

Senior Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the litigation team, including contract attorneys and paralegals
• Oversee case assignments, ensure efficient workflow and high-quality legal production
• Handle all phases of litigation, including strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial
• Conduct legal research and analysis, draft legal memoranda, motions, and court filings
• Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and mediations
• Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations
• Collaborate with the principal attorney on complex case strategy and firm initiatives
• Deliver excellent client service by providing practical legal guidance and clear communication

Senior Litigation Attorney Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar, in good standing
• 5+ years of litigation experience in business litigation and/or employment defense
• Strong command of California civil procedure, evidence, and trial strategy
• Demonstrated experience managing depositions, discovery, and civil trials
• Leadership experience managing attorneys and legal staff is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to handle multiple active cases with efficiency and professionalism
• Strong writing, communication, and team collaboration skills
