A booming construction company in Macon, GA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish. The Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations, including project scheduling, safety walks, subcontractor coordination, and problem-solving to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a leadership role, has a strong understanding of construction processes (concrete, steel, and wood), and excels in mentoring and guiding team members.

Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects
• Supervise daily on-site operations and ensure adherence to project schedules
• Coordinate with subcontractors, project managers, and trades to maintain timelines and resolve issues
• Conduct safety walks, owner meetings, and scheduling/coordination sessions
• Oversee project milestones and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables
• Review and respond to RFIs, monitor materials usage, and manage job site scopes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite to track project progress and manage documentation
• Serve as a mentor, providing guidance and training to project teams

Superintendent Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years as a Superintendent for ground-up commercial construction projects
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel formulas
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and P6 scheduling
• Experience managing concrete, steel, and wood construction projects
• Knowledge of GSFIC processes is a plus
• Proven track record of mentoring and leading teams effectively
• Organized, decisive, positive, and solution-oriented with excellent time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is preferred but not required for experienced candidates
