A reputable CPA firm is seeking a highly skilled International Tax Manager to join their growing team. This is a pivotal role that involves overseeing international tax compliance, managing client relationships, and reviewing complex tax filings. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in international tax, a strong ability to work independently, and a desire to contribute to the firm’s long-term growth. They are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of client work and help scale their practice.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 / year DOE

International Tax Manager Responsibilities:

• Review and oversee international tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Handle complex tax returns
• Manage client interactions, providing consultative support and strategic tax planning
• Take on leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior staff and assisting in business growth initiatives
• Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on international tax matters
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and efficiency
• Assist in managing workload distribution, especially during peak tax seasons
• Solely focused on individual returns

International Tax Manager Requirements:

• 5-10+ years of international tax experience
• CPA or EA certification
• At least 1 year of experience as a Tax Manager
• UltraTax software experience required
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax compliance for international clients
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
• Stability and commitment to long-term growth within the firm
