Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 / year DOE
Community Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a 500-unit property, ensuring strong financial and operational performance
- Lead a team of leasing, maintenance, and operations staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and review financial reports to drive profitability
- Ensure leasing and renewal goals are met while maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction
- Oversee maintenance projects, capital expenditures, and unit turnovers to meet occupancy targets
- Enhance the property’s reputation by managing online reviews and maintaining a strong community presence
Community Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in property management with direct financial oversight
- Strong understanding of profit and loss statements, budgeting, and expense management
- Proven leadership experience managing leasing, maintenance, and operations teams
- Proficiency in property management software such as RealPage and Rent Management
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas for financial tracking and reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to handle tenant and team concerns effectively
