This prominent real estate firm, specializing in value-add investment strategies, seeks a Senior Asset Manager for their expanding portfolio across California, Nevada, and Arizona. The ideal candidate will lead property management efforts, overseeing a mix of industrial and commercial assets, and ensuring efficiency through detail-driven asset management. This role based in Los Angeles, CA requires strong knowledge of Yardi Voyager, Excel, and experience with lender relations. Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000 / Year DOE
Senior Asset Manager Responsibilities:
- Monitor property performance, lease negotiations, and tenant relations to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency in line with value creation goals
- Identify opportunities for value creation through innovative capital improvements, strategic initiatives, and asset repositioning efforts
- Oversee lease negotiations and renewals while collaborating with lenders, servicers, and brokers to develop strategic leasing plans
- Build positive tenant relationships by addressing inquiries, implementing retention strategies, and maintaining high occupancy levels
- Analyze property financials, identify trends, and recommend solutions to support strategic planning and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Property Management and Controller to ensure accurate financial analysis and timely CAM reconciliations in Yardi Voyager
- Prepare detailed portfolio reports for management review and contribute to portfolio strategy adjustments based on market trends
- Evaluate property valuations with financial analysts to ensure accurate reporting and support effective decision-making
- Oversee capital improvements and value-add projects, ensuring quality execution and alignment with investment goals
- Partner with the acquisitions team to assess new investment opportunities, driving collaborative growth strategies
Senior Asset Manager Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, with a focus on industrial assets
- Skilled in managing industrial, retail, and office real estate, with a focus on revenue growth, cost efficiency, and completing projects on time
- Proficient in managing leases, sales agreements, property management, loan documents, and construction contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Excel, with solid knowledge of financial modeling and analysis
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to tackle complex challenges effectively.
- Strong work ethic and proactive mindset; excels in written and verbal communication, with a passion for real estate and delivering quality results
- Strong supervisory experience, overseeing multiple teams and external vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Exceptional attention to detail and accountability mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, fast-paced team
