A reputable law firm based in Seattle, WA is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of commercial or business litigation experience to join their growing legal firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and collaborative professional to be involved in a variety of litigation cases and take on meaningful responsibilities from day one. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to handle cases across various subject matters, engage in all phases of civil litigation, and work closely with experienced partners.

Salary Range: $150,000 – $190,000 / year DOE

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities: 

• Participate in all phases of civil litigation, from pleading stage through trial
• Engage in discovery, including drafting written discovery, reviewing documents, and preparing for and defending/taking depositions
• Conduct factual and legal research
• Handle written and oral motions practice
• Participate in pretrial and trial practice
• Manage commercial litigation cases across various subject matters
• Provide support in appellate practice
• Travel for trials on occasion, with an average of one trip per year
• Work closely with a partner on cases, supported by a legal assistant or paralegal

Litigation Attorney Requirements: 

• 2-5 years of commercial/business litigation experience
• Experience with electronic discovery and large document productions
• Barred in Washington or eligible for reciprocity
• Ability to travel occasionally for trials
• Strong research and writing skills
• Collaborative, team player attitude
• Self-starter who can manage workload and ask questions as needed
• Must be based in the Seattle area or open to relocation
